MISS

I have always been an entrepreneurial creative. I used to think I just struggled with finding the right direction - I actually think I needed time to build up my confidence and learn how to hone in on my creative inner child.

I am a wife, a mom, an art instructor, and, now, a small business owner. I have a bachelor's of science degree in visual arts, with a focus in painting. After getting pregnant, I stopped oil painting. Having a child forced me to find every creative avenue outside of just painting. Not to mention, teaching kids really forces you to be brave. How can I ask my students to take creative risks if I am not also willing to?

And this is where Marie's Place Snail Mail and sketchbook shop begins - taking a risk and being brave. I hope my art inspires you to take some creative risks.
